Mission Statement:
Appropriate Apparel is a family-run business. I and my sisters, who have helped me so much, are born-again Christians and believe that the purpose of clothing is to cover the body rather than to accentuate it. Our goal in this venture is to provide women, particularly young women, with attractive yet modest clothing for their everyday lives.
Return Policy:
Any garment may be returned with the tags still on and we will refund you the amount you paid; however, we cannot cover the cost of return postage.
About Us:
My name is Susan, and I could be labeled as the clothing designer for Appropriate Apparel. For years I have enjoyed making clothes for myself and my sisters, and friends have complimented us on them and commented that they cannot find such clothing in stores. In early 2010 I felt like the Lord wanted me to make our clothing available to a greater number of people, and, with encouragement and help from family and friends, Appropriate Apparel has come to be. I do the pattern making and sewing, but my younger sisters Emily and Hannah continually give me invaluable help and support with everything else. Emily has served as my "top model" while Hannah has been my chief photographer and web-design specialist. Other friends have contributed as well, and for their help I am extremely grateful. Most of all, to God be the glory; He has done great things!
